The Microcomputer Repairer/Installer Certification, Program #66032, consists of the successful completion of just FIVE classes: CET1171 - Introduction to Microcomputer Service and Maintenance |

Students can start the program with CET1171 - Introduction to Microcomputer Service and Maintenance, REF#471592 an 8 week course that starts August 27 and will end October 21, 2008. Students can also immediately enroll in CET1172C which runs from October 22 to December 13. In the "A" TERM semester students can also enroll in CET1173C in the first 8 weeks, and CET2176C in the second 8 week mini-term and be done with the core classes of the program by December. For students interested in completing the program in the Fall semester contact an advisor or check the schedule of upcoming classes. Students may take the EET1082 during the Fall (Aug. 2008) semester or the Spring semester during the mini-term or full term in which it is offered. Upon successful completion of these five classes, the student will earn the Microcomputer Repairer/Installer Certificate from Miami-Dade College and have received valuable training toward the CompTIA A+ Certification as well as their Network+ and Server+ certifications. |

Getting Started The first class for the Microcomputer Repairer/Installer Certification Program starts on August 27, 2008. The class is called "Introduction to Microcomputer Service and Maintenance" with a Course ID of CET1171 and is offered in the mornings Tuesdays/Thursdays 9:00AM - 11:25AM and in the evenings Tuesdays/Thurssdays 6:30PM - 9:00PM. As a college credit class, new students need to apply for admission to the college, but you do NOT have to apply as a "degree seeking" student. For more information and assistance on getting into the classes for the upcoming Fall semester do not hesitate to contact the program leader, the instructor or the departmental advisor on how to proceed, or you can stop by the MDC Kendall campus located at 11011 SW 104St Miami, FL and go to Building 3 ground floor Window #1 and apply for admission as a "CREDIT NON-DEGREE SEEKING" student and sign up immediately for CET1171: Mornings: Reference #471592 or Evenings Reference #471593 |
